“But who are they!?” shouts a bewildered and slightly angered interlocuter as a “conspiracy theorist” drones on and on about how “they” control everything.
They are the networks of individuals, groups, organizations, and institutions that seek to shape economics, politics, law, war, media-driven narratives, culture, and society for their own benefit. They run the banks and largest corporations. They comprise the leadership positions and councils in governments. They are the heads of law firms, prosecutors, and judges. They are the generals and admirals, chiefs of staff, and directors and deputies of the DoD and intelligence agencies. They are the editors, producers, and pundits of ABC, BBC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, MSNBC, FOX News, and other establishment media outlets. They are celebrities, social media influencers, owners of social media, and so-called FactChecking outlets like Snopes and Politifact.
Media-driven narratives are fundamental and necessary for shaping the global order they seek to establish. Watch The Big Short, and you’ll never hear about the Federal Reserve. Watch Filthy Rich, and you’ll never hear about the networks of so-called elites on Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs. Meanwhile, trillions of dollars are created out of thin air; trillions go unaccounted for in transactions by government, military, and the DoD. They tell us after the fact about secret programs that are decades old, during which time only the crazies talk about those programs. They tell us that UFOs/UAPs are real, with non-human biologics on board, but they won’t tell us nobody has been arrested in connection with the human/child sex trafficking operation led by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell - probably because some of them were visiting his infamous island.
They are not us, the free-thinking anti-establishment types who live in a world built by and for them. “Our” world is a construct, and it’s evermore being crafted into a global order in which global solutions are presented as the only option for global problems that individuals haplessly encounter and can do little about. Anti-establishment leaders are harassed, co-opted, or killed, socially or personally. They tell us it’s all a coincidence, that the kernels of truth at the heart of every so-called conspiracy theory are meaningless. They work hard to protect themselves and the narratives that help provide them cover, the like the curtain shielding the man behind the curtain.
“D'you wear a black armband when they shot the man
Who said peace could last forever?
An' in my first memories, they shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see” ~Axl Rose (free-thinking, anti-establishment type)
Speaking of insights in musical form, here’s how The Simpsons presented another side of the story: the vast networks of secret societies. Of course, it’s just a cartoon, and The Simpsons have never been right about anything significant, right?
